You wade into the lake a little. There is a small clay reservoir in the middle. You discovered it basically your first day here, to your delight. You felt really lucky... and that's what life is all about. That's how you built your house.
You take a glance over to the burnt, black, pit across the lake. It's so horrible there. You've never been, but you can see it. It's evil, you think.
When you think about it, is this even a lake? It's really small for a lake. It's bigger than a pond, but smaller than a "lake"... what the hell is this even?
